We were notified today that Pilgrim International will be closed until further notice. Pilgrim Intl. was the manufacturer of the following brands of RV's:

Legends

Pilgrim

Open Road

Cirrus

and Supra.

Below is a statement from one of the company officials.

"A company official from Pilgrim International in Middlebury said the company is temporarily ceasing operations at all its Elkhart County plants, effective immediately.

He said the company is re-evaluating its status, but its goal is to re-open eventually. He did not know how long those plants would stay closed."

An employee told WSBT News the layoffs affect 178 people at four plants in Elkhart County.

 

Here at J&M Camper we were one of the original Open Road and Pilgrim dealers. We had stopped selling the Pilgrim Intl. products in the past few years but we wish our friends at Pilgrim and all of their families the best of luck in the future.

 

We know that many of our customers own Pilgrim products and we will do our best to locate parts needed for any repairs of your campers. If you currently have parts on order at our dealership that are related to Pilgrim products please contact our parts department.

 

Our service department will continue to perform repairs on Pilgrim products, although warranty service will be suspended until we have further information of the status of the closure. We will still perform warranty repairs on the appliances that are still under warranty through the appliance manufacturer.

 

We apologize for any trouble this may cause our customers and we will handle each repair on a case by case basis. J&M Camper Sales and the Stoddard Family will continue to be here for all of your RV and Marine needs as we have been for the past 41 years.
